生物多樣性（Biodiversity）是生物及其環境形成的生態復合體以及與此相關的各種生態過程的綜合，包括所有不同種類的動物、植物、微生物，以及它們所擁有的基因、它們與其生存環境形成的復雜的生態系統。通常劃分為遺傳多樣性、物種多樣性和生態系統多樣性。
